Expert Speaker Dr. John Sottosanti Saturday, May 30th, 2-3:30pm Parish Hall
Dr. John Sottosanti, a retired dental surgeon and author of the highly rated spiritual memoir Mortal Adhesions, first encountered the Shroud of Turin at an exposition in Italy in 2000. It made a lasting impression. He will bring his expertise to St. Margaret’s for an informative and lively audiovisual presentation. Just seven months ago, he made the amazing discovery that the image on the Shroud of Turin contains anatomically correct teeth, hidden behind closed lips. He argues that this detail points to a burst of radiant energy, consistent with the Resurrection, as the cause of the image of teeth to be imprinted on the Shroud 2000 years ago. Dr. Sottosanti was featured in international publications and appeared twice on the national Newsmax cable channel to explain his theory. Don’t miss the unique opportunity to experience a local expert share scientific insights and personal faith reflections on one of Christianity’s most intriguing mysteries.
